Brunello di Montaclino

DOCG

James Suckling says it all: “Fabulous aromas of black cherry, bark, pine cone, raspberry and burnt orange peel follow through to a full body with ultra-fine tannins that run the length of the wine. It’s fruity yet savory and so vivid and endless. Structured yet full of polish and beauty. Best ever? Drink after 2027. 96 points.” Many other 90+ ratings, such as WA (94+). Hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation, délestage and pumping over, aging in large, seasoned barrels for 36 months plus 14 months in smaller oak and tank.
