65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc from vines averaging 40 years of age and trained in either cordon or guyot. The grapes are entirely destemmed, and there is a cold maceration for 5 days. Brief aging in vat. The 2020 has a ripe, generous aroma of dark fruit and black plum with herbal, dusty highlights. Full with a rich mouthfeel. Has real substance for a basic Bordeaux rouge.
