AOP Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux

Another mono-varietal, showing that Bordeaux has surprises to discover. Super nose, pure black cherry, blackberry and black currant. Concentrated palate, cool, balanced, young and completely true to the variety. This is the result of a vinification intégrale, or “whole” fermentation with skins in a barrel on its side, followed by 16 months of aging in barrique. Given the thirst for Cabs, run, do not walk for this one (that’s not hyperbole).
