Petite Marie White 2024

Petite Marie
A clever twist on the conventional
Bordeaux formula… in both packaging and taste.
The emphasis is on freshness and fruit.
Aging is in steel tank and/or concrete. Wood is not used in any form.
Petite Marie White
A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Colombard. Fermented in a tank at a low temperature to protect the delicate fragrance of white and yellow fruits.

Property: The estate of Stéphane Dupuch and family. He took the reins from his father in 1997.
Vineyard: The vineyard covers nearly 148 acres on clay-limestone soils with fine gravel. The vines average 20 years of age. As of vintage 2024, the property is certified organic and enjoys both the Bee Friendly and HVE certifications.
Grape Varieties: 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Colombard, which is an accessory variety permitted under appellation rules in Entre-Deux-Mers. It is the “secret ingredient” of Petite Marie white and perfectly complements the intensity of Sauvignon.
Winemaking: The grapes are sorted after picking and pressed in a pneumatic press for gentle extraction. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks at a moderately low temperature (15 to 18° C/59 to 64° F). The wine is given brief aging in a tank to safeguard its delicacy.
Petite Marie white is enjoyable on release for its freshness and delicate aromatics. Best within 3 years of vintage date.
